The premier spin bowler from Afghanistan, Rashid Khan has pulled out of the Men’s Hundred due to an unspecified “injury,” on the eve of the tournament. The 24-year-old was set to turn up for Trent Rockets in a three-match stint, but now, he will be replaced in the team by Imad Wasim from Pakistan. Before his late withdrawal, Rashid Khan was due to play against Southern Brave at Trent Bridge in Nottingham on August 1, Tuesday, the opening day of the Men’s Hundred. The inaugural season of the Major League Cricket (MLC) is expected to bring a new era in the American cricket. The MLC 2023 will feature a total of 12 matches scheduled to take place from July 13 to 30 at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas. A total of six teams will participate in the MLC 2023 with four of them have been owned by the IPL franchises - Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals.
