  The 19-year-old legspinner Tanveer Sangha became only the second Indian origin spinner to be selected for Australia when he as picked in the 18-man squad for the T20I series in New Zealand next month. World No. 1 T20I batsman Dawid Malan has joined the Pune Devils team for the fourth edition of Abu Dhabi T10 League, starting on Thursday. Malan as come as replacement for icon player T Parera , who did not get NOC to play in the competition.   Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell continues to struggles in the purest format of the game and has hinted at his retirement from Test cricket. The 32-year-old is now focused on white-ball formats and has not been able to replicate similar performances in Tests. “I don’t think I stand anywhere near to it”, Maxwell recently quoted on his Test comeback.  Glenn Maxwell understands that one of the main ways to get back into the Australian Test team is to perform in domestic tournaments like the Sheffield Shield.   New parents Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli gave a first appearance to the world after giving birth to their daughter. However, the couple refused to take an image of their newborn, the two stars were spotted outside a clinic in Mumbai. India have announced an 18-member squad for the first two Tests against England. Captain Virat Kohli, who is on paternity leave, will be back in the squad which also includes Ishant Sharma and Hardik Pandya. Meanwhile, left-arm spinner Axar Patel has also been called up. It is worth noting that Prithvi Shaw, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and T Natarajan have been excluded from the squad. Contrary to earlier reports, BCCI may add only one IPL franchise for now.
