In the speech during the inaugural, at the world’s largest cricket stadium – Amit Shah incorrectly pronounced India’s greatest ever player Sachin Tendulkar as “Soochin Tendulkar”. India’s Home Minister was mentioning about the laurels Sachin Tendulkar has brought to the country and also talked about his performances at then Sardar Patel Stadium. He said, “On this venue Sachin Tendulkar completed 18,000 International runs while playing against England in 2011 World Cup”.
