Road Safety World Series squads announced; India Legends confirm Sachin, Yuvraj’s participation

 


Former cricket legends are set to make a comeback to take the fans down the memory lane as the Road Safety World Series is set to commence on March 5. A total of six teams full of legendary cricketers namely- India Legends, Sri Lanka Legends, South Africa Legends, West Indies Legends, England Legends and Bangladesh Legends – will participate in the T20 tournament. The Road Safety World Series is being staged to create awareness among masses about road safety on Indian streets. The inaugural edition of the competition had to be called off midway owing to threats posed by Coronavirus pandemic.

Max Verstappen Won Emilia Romagna Grand Prix 2022

As Ferrari failed to deliver on home soil, Max Verstappen won a dramatic wet-dry Emilia Romagna Grand Prix against Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez, with Charles Leclerc spinning late on to finish sixth after Carlos Sainz retired. The Dutchman won the Sprint on Saturday and led off the line on Sunday, with teammate Perez joining him at the front — while Leclerc slid to fourth for a brief while. On the first lap, the Safety Car was deployed after Daniel Ricciardo pushed Carlos Sainz into the gravel and out of the race for the second time. With 86 points after the Imola Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc maintains his lead in the Driver's Championship. WPL 2023 Live Score and Scorecard

The inaugural season of the Women's Premier League (WPL) has been scheduled to commence from March 4, 2023 and the final match will take place on March 26, 2023 at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai. The WPL 2023 opener is set to be played between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. A total of 22 matches will be played between the five teams, including Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals and UP Warriorz. All the teams will play eight matches in the league stage, four home and four away games each as the last league match will be played on March 21, 2023 at the Brabourne stadium. The top three teams will qualify for the playoffs as the table toppers directly qualify for the final while the second and the third placed teams will square off in the Eliminator.
