World Cup winning all-rounder Yusuf Pathan announces retirement from all forms of cricket


 

Yusuf Pathan announced his retirement from international cricket on Friday. He played 174 IPL matches while featured in 57 ODIs for India.

With the emergence of new finishers in the domestic circuit, Yusuf fell out of favour after 2012 and never played international cricket again. However, he kept on entertaining fans in the IPL. His last appearance in the T20 tournament came in 2019 for the Sunrisers Hyderabad following which he found no takers in the auction after being released by the Orange Army.

Max Verstappen Won Emilia Romagna Grand Prix 2022

As Ferrari failed to deliver on home soil, Max Verstappen won a dramatic wet-dry Emilia Romagna Grand Prix against Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez, with Charles Leclerc spinning late on to finish sixth after Carlos Sainz retired. The Dutchman won the Sprint on Saturday and led off the line on Sunday, with teammate Perez joining him at the front — while Leclerc slid to fourth for a brief while. WPL 2023 Live Score and Scorecard

The inaugural season of the Women's Premier League (WPL) has been scheduled to commence from March 4, 2023 and the final match will take place on March 26, 2023 at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai. The WPL 2023 opener is set to be played between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. A total of 22 matches will be played between the five teams, including Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals and UP Warriorz. All the teams will play eight matches in the league stage, four home and four away games each as the last league match will be played on March 21, 2023 at the Brabourne stadium. The top three teams will qualify for the playoffs as the table toppers directly qualify for the final while the second and the third placed teams will square off in the Eliminator.
