Cristiano Ronaldo creates history, becomes first footballer to score at least 20 goals in 12 consecutive seasons

The last time the Portugal legend could not net 20 goals was during his final season at Manchester United back in 2008-09.

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo added yet another milestone to his illustrious career as he netted the third goal in his team’s 3-0 win over Spezia. The goal was his fourth in his last three Serie A appearances and took him two clear of Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku in the race to the Italian league golden boot. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has now scored 20 goals in the top-flight this season. He scored in the 89th minute to seal the three points for his side and take them three points behind second-placed AC Milan in the points tally.
