Thisara Perera becomes first Sri Lankan to smash six sixes in an over and Overall became ninth cricketer to achieve this feat. 

All-rounder Thisara Perera has become the first Sri Lankan to smash six sixes in an over in any form of professional cricket. The southpaw achieved the feat playing for Army Sports Cricket Club in SLC’s Major Clubs tournament on Sunday. Part-time off-spinner Dilhan Cooray, playing for Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club, was the bowler at the receiving end of Perara’s power-hitting.
