Moeen Ali refuses to wear CSK jersey; franchise to arrange different jersey ahead of IPL 2021


 Moeen Ali does not even wears logos of alcohol based brands on any of his jerseys whether it is for his national team or such T20 competitions around the world.

Notably, Ali is a Muslim and his religious faith forbids him from consuming alcohol. However, when Moeen found out that the CSK jersey had a logo of SNJ 10000, he quickly requested the team management for an exemption from wearing that jersey. The team has now agreed to the 33-year-old’s request.
