RCB to wear Special Blue jersey to support front-line warriors fighting Covid-19

 


Royal Challengers Bangalore will play in a ‘Special Blue’ jersey in one of their upcoming matches to pay respect to all the front-line heroes fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic. The franchise announced the news on social media through a video, wherein RCB skipper Virat Kohli shares a heartfelt message with fans.

There will also be key messages on the RCB match kit. The franchise also posted a picture of Virat Kohli sporting the new blue jersey. RCB’s tweet read, “This season RCB is going to be sporting a special Blue jersey in 1 of the upcoming matches with key messaging on the match kit to pay our respect & show solidarity to all the front line heroes who have spent last year wearing PPE kits & leading the fight against the pandemic.”

PSL 2023 Live Score, Live Scorecard, Venue and More

The eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been scheduled to take place from February 13 to March 19, 2023. The PSL 2023 draft took place on December 15, 2022 in Karachi, where 36 foreign players were picked alongside local players. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced Multan, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi as the venues for the tournament in 2023. A total of six teams including defending champions Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators will face each other in a double round robin stage to qualify for the playoffs. In the Qualifiers, the top two teams play Qualifier 1 while the bottom two lock horns in Eliminator like the Indian Premier League. The loser of Qualifier 1 then take on the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2 to book a berth in the final against the winner of Qualifier 1.
